The lobby has a nice vibe, featuring temporary art galleries and live music on weekends. The elevators were slow and one didn't work during my stay, making it inconvenient to get to my room.

The shuttle service makes it super easy to explore downtown Nashville in just 20 minutes, and during my stay, I loved being close to great places like the Cumberland River Pedestrian Bridge and Nissan Stadium, plus the walk to Shelby Park was lovely for a stroll. The restaurant/bar had a great atmosphere with friendly staff, and the food was really superb. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, but there were some maintenance issues that could use attention.

The pool area was really nice, and I enjoyed the live music at the bar. The elevator was incredibly slow, leading to long waits.

I was really put off by the lack of basic services at this place. No room cleaning during our stay meant we had to ask for fresh towels at the desk. Really? It felt like we were second-class guests here.

The burger I ordered was a delight that turned my evening around. The individual ice bags are handy for road trips and the staff usually keep things friendly.

The room was large with comfortable beds and great pillows. the AC in the first room struggled; the second room had better cooling but was missing a refrigerator. I appreciated the pet-friendly atmosphere, though the promised dog beds and bowls weren’t provided. Renovations were underway, which explained the damaged items, including a broken lamp and a torn window shade. There was no maid service, and towels needed to be requested at the desk. The restaurant service was excellent, especially from Richard. An elevator issue caused inconvenience, and the hidden fees were disappointing.

Ideal choice for a two-day stay in Nashville with good value considering price charged. The beds were extremely comfortable.

So, my experience at The Preston was a bit of a mixed bag. I also found the staff to be friendly and helpful, which really makes a difference in how enjoyable a stay can be. But, there were definitely some issues that I can't overlook. The bathroom in my room was in need of some serious updating, think peeling paint, rust, and mold. Not the most pleasant sight, to say the least. And the HVAC system definitely needed some attention because it wasn't working properly during my stay. I was also a bit disappointed by the lack of amenities that were promised but not delivered. The gym was tiny and half the machines were out of order. Plus, the Wi-Fi was terrible, and the pool wasn't even available for use. And on top of all that, they charged a hefty daily fee for amenities that we couldn't even enjoy! Not cool. To add to the frustration, the front desk lady was incredibly rude, and the whole keycard situation was a hassle. We had to ask multiple times for basic things like towels, toilet paper, and even a TV remote. And let's not forget the issues with extra charges and miscommunications, it really put a damper on the whole experience. The Preston fell short of my expectations. While there were some positives, the negatives definitely outweighed them for me. I don't think I'll be staying here again in the future.

comfortable beds, comfortable atmosphere with extremely soft beds that provided a great night's sleep and a beautifully decorated lobby that made for a pleasant place to relax.
Nothing everything was great.

The accommodations were cozy and welcoming, making it easy for us to relax during the wedding festivities. The staff was friendly and even provided a nice happy hour with complimentary drinks—definitely a hit among the guests!
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but the overall experience made it worthwhile.

Hotel Preston offers a convenient location near the airport and a lively atmosphere thanks to its live music. Although the room conditions and amenities need attention, the helpful front desk staff and great prices make it a potential option for budget-conscious travelers.

Clean. Updated. Impressive value. Rooms are well-appointed, comfortable beds, and attentive bar staff enhance the experience. The shuttle to Broadway is a plus, making the location convenient for entertainment. communication needs improvement. I faced issues with the front desk regarding pet fees and check-in delays. One room was dirty upon arrival, and vending machines failed to deliver. Limited food choices were confusing, with the restaurant closed due to flooding. Night disruptions from alarms and water issues were frustrating. Cleaning and maintenance require attention. The hotel has potential and a strong staff; they must tighten operations for a flawless stay. It's a work in progress, and I hope they take these concerns seriously.

Great location with easy access and a handy shuttle to downtown. The staff was welcoming, especially one evening shift receptionist who was genuinely nice. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, complete with comfy beds and good food options. some ice machines were dirty, luggage carts were scarce, and the air conditioning was noisy. Communication could improve; I discovered the shuttle service by chance. A leaky sink made the bathroom hazardous, especially with a handicapped family member. a decent stay with nice updates, but the service lacking enthusiasm dampened the experience.

Beds and pillows were uber comfy, making me sleep like a baby after a long day. Not to mention the pool and bar were a bonus, providing the perfect spot to unwind in between meetings. Plus, the bar staff was super friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home.
The room was a bit run down, with some maintenance issues like slow draining tubs and occasional hot water problems. Also, the noise levels from neighboring rooms and the hallway could be a bit disruptive at times.

The interior design was a nice change from the usual chain hotels, with comfortable beds and large windows. The hotel had a pleasant scent throughout and was affordable. The late check-in experience was fantastic, with a helpful staff member going out of their way to assist after a long journey.
There were issues with upfront communication about fees and discrepancies with deposit amounts. Waiting times in the lobby were a bit long, and key cards frequently malfunctioned.

We hiked at Radnor Lake State Park and saw cute otters. Hotel Preston had funky art and was close to downtown - perfect for Snapchatting.
Wish the hotel had a hip rooftop bar for late-night hangouts.

The eclectic art collection celebrating music, travel, and pop culture added a fun vibe. The convenient location made exploring downtown Music City a breeze, and the comfortable beds ensured we slept like babies.
In my wife's opinion, more kid-friendly meal options would be ideal.

The restaurant and bar were a rocking good time with comfort food and live music. The seating area was perfect for writing my memoirs in style. I was close to legendary music venues and had a ball at the pool with city noise blocked out by lush trees.
The rooms were a bit too cozy. with TVs for ants.

the hotel is so cute and really close to the airport - which was perfect after my delayed flight. it's just a 9-minute drive away in the morning. the bar tenders were amazing - they really went above and beyond, and it was great to get some local insights from them.

Our stay at a convenient location was marred when another guest mistakenly entered our room due to a key mix-up. Although the staff remedied the situation, it was unsettling. Nonetheless, our room was comfortable and the amenities were adequate. I'll recommend this hotel.
